There is no bad blood between Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and deputy Andre Ayew, Ghana football’s interim chair, Dr Kofi Amoah has revealed.
Brushing aside the polarizing matter that has thrived in the Ghanaian media space , the vocal sports administrator asserted that the two players are very comfortable with each other and are united in their quest to bring glory to Ghana.
“There is no disagreement between Andre Ayew and Asamoah Gyan,” he asserted in an engagement by on Accra-based Metro TV.
He emphasized the role of the President of the Republic in seeing through a fruitful and amicable meeting that dissolved any subtle residues of the supposed differences between the two most influential figures in the Black Stars.
“Both players were invited by the president to the Jubilee House and the problem has been resolved”, Dr Amoah trumpeted.
“I was a witness to that and both players pledged to give their best to ensure the country win the AFCON in Egypt,” he affirmed.
