Ducthman Philip Cocu has named Andre Ayew in his starting 11 to face Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig game tonight.
The Ghana international has earned a place in the Dutch manager’s starting 11 again after missing the last game for the former Turkey Champions.
The former West Ham and Swansea City player is expected to give Fenerbahce more options going forward against a more physical and aggressive Besiktas side.
Andre Ayew did not play a part in Fernabache’s defeat at Dinamo but the midfielder makes a return for the Istanbul derby tonight.
The stakes are high in this game. Besiktas are 5th on the league table with 10 points, 4 points more than their city rivals Fenerbahce who are 13th on the league log with 6 points in 5 games.
The derby takes place at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
