The Government of Ghana has formed a five-member committee to oversee football activities in the country, Ghanacrusader.com can report.
According to sources close to Ghanacrusader.com, Government in its move to dissolve Ghana Football Association following the Anas’ video has named a five-man committee to take charge of football affairs.
Last Thursday, Government issued a statement that they will be taking steps to dissolve GFA after Anas’ video captured top Ghana FA officials taking bribes to influence games.
The video titled ‘Number 12′ also caught the immediate past GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi extorting monies from investors by using the name of President Akufo-Addo.
With Government’s move to dissolve GFA due to Anas’ video, the Executive Committee of the FA formed a five-man committee to meet the Sports Minister, Isaac Asiamah, for a resolution, but per sources close to Ghanacrusader.com, Government is not backtracking on decision to dissolve GFA.
