AFCON 2019: CAF Releases $260,000 Each To Competing Countries

The Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee has been paid US$ 260,000 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for preparations ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Ghana is among 24 countries to have received this amount from CAF to aid countries to prepare adequately towards the competition.

The competition will kick start on June 21st and countries have at least more than a month to conclude arrangements as well put themselves together to ensure that they don’t face financial problems before and during the tournament.

Ghana have been placed in Group F together with defending champions Cameroon ,Benin and Guinea Bissau. The Black Stars will be camping in Abu Dhabi before they finally jet off to Ismaili ,where they will be based for the group stages of the tournament.
