Black Stars players will pocket US$ 30,000 each for progressing to the knockout round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Ghana needed a win to seal round 16 spot. Jordan Ayew raced on to a through ball seconds after half-time to put them ahead, and Thomas Partey slotted home Abdul Baba’s cross to seal the victory.

That second goal ensured Ghana finished top of Group F, with Cameroon drawing 0-0 with Benin in Ismailia.

Kwesi Appiah’s side toppled Cameroon on number of goals scored after defending champions Cameroon drew 0-0 with Benin in the other Group match.

Ghana will face the runners-up of Group E in the last 16 stage on Monday, 8 July 2019 at the Ismailia Stadium.
