Striker Abel Manomey has officially ended his stay at Great Olympics after two seasons.
The bulky forward, who joined the Accra-based side from Kotoku Royals in 2016 is no more Olympics player after his contract with the club ended on July 31st, 2018.
The player took to his Facebook page to confirm that his contract with the ‘Dade Boys’ has ended.
“Officially my contract with the wonder club ended yesterday at 23:59, making me a free player. I have not decided yet on my future and next possible destination.
“For all your support for the two years I played with Accra Great Olympics Football Club, I am grateful.”
Manomey since joining the club played 8 preseason games, scoring 13 goals.
In the 2016/17 season, he played 7 games, scoring 5 goals.
After 7 games in the Ghanaian top-flight, Monomey suffered a career threatening injury which ruled him out of the rest of the season.
