Dancehall artiste, Samini who is credited with saving the just ended VGMA when Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale nearly brought proceeding to an abrupt end, has said any artiste who is not capable of performing with a live band can’t be called a complete musician.

Samini suggested that his colleagues who fall short of this skill should rather be called fraudsters and not musicians.

So, if performing and you have your recorded voice playing and your microphone acting like you are performing, it’s either you are a fraud or doing karaoke. You are not a complete musician if you cannot perform your music live

However, he further advised musicians who haven’t mastered the art of live performances to try their best and learn to improve their stagecraft.

The Dancehall legend came on stage right after the brawl to revive the interest of patrons with an energetic performance which arguably became the best performance of the night.
