The Artiste who began his music career in 2008, said that he held on with the song’s promotion because of lack of funds.

During an interview with Hitz Fm on November 29, 2018, Benardio indicated that the French song was recorded in the Zion Rock Studio at Alhaji Tabora in Accra was left in the hands of his studio engineer to keep till the funds were available for its due promotion.

When he was being asked about how the song was leaked, He said that he heard Shatta Wale’s version in English, I was very surprised about it and I asked studio engineer who is also a DJ, how the song was leaked, “The sound engineer told me that he suspects that someone took the song from his system without his knowledge and posted it online or gave it to Shatta Wale”.

He said that to be compensated, he would like for Shatta Wale to collaborate with him on a song so that he would have peace of mind.

“I am here for peace and not any conflict and for him to compensate me i think that we should do a collaboration together for me to get peace of mind.”
