Carboo and Tsatsu lost 21-14 and 21-10 to Hungary’s Artur Hajos and Attila Streli on Sunday.
They duo will be at it again when they face their opponents- Olivier Lanteri and Ludovic Palmaro- from France on Tuesday as they hope to cast off gloom to respond to Sunday’s defeat to Hungary.
Meanwhile captain of Team Ghana ,Abeiku Jackson ,will dive into the waters to compete in the men’s 100m butterfly event on the 9th of October.As captain of the team , the young swimmer would be expected to set a positive example for the rest of his team members as they seek to win medals for Team Ghana in Argentina.
On Thursday October 11, Ghana’s only female athlete in competition, Sandra Mensimah Owusu will also compete in the 58kg weightlifting event before Solomon Diaffo will take to the athletics track for the men’s 400m event.
Martha Bissah is Ghana’s only medal winner at the Youth Olympics when she won Gold in 800 meters at the Youth Olympics in Nanjing back in 2014.
