2018 World Cup: Nesta Pitana To Handle France vs Croatia Final

Nesta Pitana will be the middleman for the World Cup final between France and Croatia at the Luzhniki Stadium at Moscow on Sunday, 15th, July, 2018 at 4:00 PM.

The 43 year-old will be assisted on the lines by compatriots, Hernan Maidana and Juan Belati with Holland referee Bjorn Kuipers will be handling the fourth official duties.

He has already officiated four games so far at the World Cup including Russia’s 5-0 thumping of Saudi Arabia.

Pitana will be second Argentine referee to officiate a World Cup final after Horacio Elizondo, who did same in 2006 the tie between Germany and Brazil.
