Otumfuo acquires 3 Kantanka vehicles

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 received the first of three customised four wheel drives from Kantanka Automobile, a local vehicle manufacturer under Apostle Kwadwo Safo of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana.

The remaining two of the customised vehicles ordered by Otumfuo are expected to be delivered soon.

The Asantehene said the vehicle, under the brand name ‘Kantanka Otumfuo’ was his way of encouraging the Apostle and to rally Ghanaians and government to patronise the product.

Specifications

The vehicle, branded ‘Kantanka Otumfuo’, is only one of many innovations and inventions the industrialist has produced in recent times.

The ‘Kantanka Otumfuo’ vehicles, worth GHS150,000 each, has kente-branded leather seats with a crest embroidered in them.

Other features include a rear view camera, sensors, and power windows, among others.

According to Class FM’s Ashanti regional correspondent Owoahene Addai Mununkum who was at the Manhyia Palace, the Ashanti king promised support for the company.
