Newly-appointed Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah will arrive in the country today as Black Stars coach .
Appiah, 56, who was named as the successor to Israeli trainer Avram Grant earlier this month vacated his role as the head coach of Sudanese outfit Al Khartoum El Watani in the coming days.
The former Ghana captain has been handed an initial two-year contract which is subject to renewal.
Kwesi Appiah officially starts his two-year journey on May 1.
Appiah, who will also take charge of the national team for locally-based players, has been offered a two-year contract to start work 1 May.
He replaces Avram Grant who stepped down as coach after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
