Kintampo Waterfalls Disaster: Last two patients discharged

The last two patients from the Kintampo Waterfalls disaster have been discharged from the Kintampo Government Hospital in Bono-Ahafo.

This means that the facility cared for eight of the twenty two injured and referred fourteen to various hospitals in the region and the Ashanti Region.

The Medical Superintendent at the Kintampo Hospital, Dr. Gavin Apio, in an interview said the hospital will require help to restock drugs and other essentials as it has virtually run out of stock while treating the disaster victims free of charge.
